Body Types
Cockatrice's have a few different body types!
Here are some examples of body types you can give you Cockatrice and how to proportion them.
However, you can mix and match and do whatever you want, every bird is different. You can have a bird be short and skinny, tall and plump, or the average joe of your dreams; do whatever you'd like, that is the beauty of creating things :)

Height Differences

Visuals shown are on an Average Weight Cockatrice.
Smaller Height
Smaller Heights for Cockatrices are anything between 5-7 feet at relaxed stance.

Average Height
Average Height for a Cockatrice is 7-9 feet at a relaxed stance. Cockatrices can increase their height by about 1.5-2 feet by extending their necks in most cases; this applies to all.
Taller Height
Larger Height for a Cockatrice is anything above 9 ft.
Dwarfism in Cockatrices
Average Height for a Dwarf Cockatrice is 4ft at a relaxed stance. Dwarfism affects Cockatrices by shortening their stature. Their height is always significantly decreased and has various effects on limb proportions.

Dwarfism affects 1/10,000 Cockatrices.

Cockatrices with dwarfism all have the ability to have any other beaks, combs, etc., but these features can sometimes appear altered by their bodies' proportions. Some dwarf Cockatrices have proportionate limbs and features, while others do not.
Here is just one example, as dwarfism presents itself in countless combinations of ways, as all genetics do. Many cases of dwarfism cause debilitating health issues, so researching how it presents in and affects real people and animals is worth your time before creating an OC.
All in all, it is up to you to decide how to depict the features of your Cockatrice under the effect of dwarfism. There are many ways to depict it! I say this to remind you to be respectful while also knowing that this drawing isn't the only way you can draw a Cockatrice with dwarfism.
